FBINCAAA Objectives

The FBINCAAA strives to enhance the FBI’s community outreach efforts, by providing local Chapters with outreach programs, education, guidance and support.  We do this by:

  • Assisting with improving communication between Chapter boards and the National board
  • Organizing an annual National Leadership Conference with training and information sharing presentations
  • Encouraging FBI Community Outreach Specialists (COS) to attend applicable Regional Chapter Coordinator (RCC) calls
  • Assisting with information sharing by Chapters through RCC calls, National newsletter and the FBI National CAA Forum on Facebook
  • Assisting Chapters and COSs with understanding each entity’s role under the FBI’s Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)
  • Creating and administering a Chapter awards program so chapter accomplishments can be recognized by their field offices, Chapter alumni and their community
  • Providing governance and compliance oversight of Chapters
  • Providing educational opportunities through the CHATS program
  • Creating a database of speakers bureau information as a resource to chapters
  • Creating templates and other tools for distribution to Chapters
  • Exploring and developing new national partnerships and initiatives for nationwide community outreach programs
  • Researching and creating cost savings with vendors for  website, insurance, documentation retention programs, business cards and specialty branded merchandise such as challenge coins, lapel pins, shirts and name badges
  • Providing a wide array of expertise from National board members who are available to assist Chapters with diverse needs
The FBI National Citizens Academy Alumni Association is a nonprofit organization separate and apart from the FBI.
